Zulu is the largest ethnic group in South Africa<\/a>, with an estimated population of about 10 million to 12 million people who live in Kwazulu-Natal. The Zulu nation, which is from the Nguni ethnic group, is not only found in South Africa; you can also find them in Lesotho, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Malawi, and Eswatini. The people of Zulu are made up of over 150 clans.<\/p>\n

All of these different clans that make up the Zulu nation are ruled by one Zulu king<\/a>, who in turn reports to the president of South Africa<\/a>. Each clan is also identified by unique clan names. Most people from the different clans, attach their clan names and surnames to their individual names as a means of identification.
