Aside from this, you will not be charged any other fee, because the transfer service is free.<\/p>\n<p>The basic information you will need for transferring airtime aside from the USSD code is the recipient&#8217;s number. If you enter the wrong number, you will have to bear the loss.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>What You Need To Know About Transferring Airtime<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The different <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mtn.co.za\/Pages\/MTN-Me2u.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">kinds of MTN users<\/a> have different terms and conditions attached to Me2u airtime transfers. It is important for all users to know and understand the terms and conditions attached to their SIM type before attempting to transfer airtime.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>MTN Contract Customers<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Unlike other types of customers, contract subscribers will need to call the MTN service provider to register for the MTN Me2u service. During the registration, you will choose a monthly transfer limit for yourself. Here are the different options:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>R25<\/li>\n<li>R50<\/li>\n<li>R100<\/li>\n<li>R300<\/li>\n<li>R500<\/li>\n<li>R1,000<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>After each transfer, you will receive an SMS containing the transfer details, and the amount of Me2U limit still available for you. The amount you transfer will not be deducted from your bundles.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>MTN PayAsYouGo Customers<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>PayAsYouGo customers do not need to register to use the Me2U service. You can outrightly use your SIM to transfer airtime &#8211; from R2 and above.<\/p>\n<p>Your transfer must be in whole number (i.e. 2, 3, 4,&#8230;&#8230;.10&#8230;), and users have a daily transfer limit of R1,000 and a monthly limit of R10,000. Just be sure to have sufficient airtime before making transfers.<\/p>\n<p>After each transfer, you will receive an SMS that contains details of your transfer and your current airtime balance. You are not allowed to transfer airtime gotten from promotions like bonuses.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>MTN Hybrid Customers (Anytime TopUp and Off-Peak TopUp)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Hybrid customers do not have to register to use this service. These users cannot transfer airtime from their anytime TopUp, or airtime from promotions. It must be prepaid airtime.<\/p>\n<p>Just like PayAsYouGo customers, hybrid customers also have a daily limit of R1,000 and a monthly R10,000. Most of the ways used for buying airtime on MTN also allow you to purchase for other users.<\/p>\n<p>Just like with airtime transfer, you should always remember that entering the wrong number will be a loss on your end because recharges are not refundable.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>How to Buy Airtime For Others Using MTN Online Shop<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Visit <a href=\"http:\/\/mtn.co.za\">mtn.co.za<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>&#8216;Recharge\/Top-Up&#8217;<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Click on &#8216;Airtime.&#8217;<\/li>\n<li>Enter the amount of airtime you want to purchase.<\/li>\n<li>Select the <strong>&#8216;Confirm&#8217;<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n<li>Enter the cellphone number you will like to purchase the airtime from.<\/li>\n<li>Click on <strong>&#8216;Confirm&#8217;<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Go on with making payment for the airtime using your debit or credit card.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>How To Buy Airtime For Others Using ATM<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Insert your card into the ATM.<\/li>\n<li>Input your pin.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>&#8216;Airtime&#8217;<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Enter the recipient&#8217;s number.<\/li>\n<li>Choose an amount.<\/li>\n<li>The airtime will be credited to the line almost immediately.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>How To Buy Airtime For Others On Eazi Recharge<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Dial <strong>*136*10#<\/strong> on your MTN line.<\/li>\n<li>Choose <strong>&#8216;Recharge&#8217;<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Enter the cell phone number of your desired recipient.<\/li>\n<li>Enter the amount.<\/li>\n<li>Accept terms and conditions.<\/li>\n<li>Make payment using your debit or credit card.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>You Can Also Send The Pin On A Voucher Card For The Recipient To Load<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The moment you load a voucher card, the only way you can transfer the airtime to another person is by using the Me2U. In place of that, you can buy the MTN voucher card, scratch it to unveil the pin, and send the pin as an SMS to the recipient for the recipient to load.<\/p>\n<p>Before throwing the Voucher into the bin, be sure that the recipient has already loaded it, in order to avoid the loss that may arise from sending the wrong pin number.
