It is used by CIPC to conduct enterprise details.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Name extension:<\/strong> The commission renders this service to those that want to extend the reserved name expiry date.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Transaction Status:<\/strong> The commission also tracks transaction status. They do that using this service.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Balance Inquiry:<\/strong> This service is used when the commission wants to issue a customer code statement.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Name Transfer:<\/strong> The CIPC also transfers reserved names to another customer code using this service.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Certificates:<\/strong> The commission issues these certificates &#8211; Disclosures, B-BBEE certificates, MOI (incorporation) documents, as well as approved names.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Domain Registration:<\/strong> Used to register a domain name for your company.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Update Contact Details:<\/strong> Used to update director or member contact details for companies and close corporations.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2><strong>How To Apply For a CIPC Certificate Online<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Applying for a CIPC certificate online is one of the easiest tasks to carry out. It requires little or no effort if you carefully follow the instructions listed below:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Visit the CIPC website www.cipc.co.za<\/li>\n<li>Click on Download certificates<\/li>\n<li>Click on Customer Login<\/li>\n<li>You are expected to complete the required fields<br \/>\na. Customer Code<br \/>\nb. Customer Password (case sensitive)<br \/>\nc. Security code (case sensitive)<br \/>\nd. Click on CIPC Terms &amp; Conditions to read it, and in the circle next to it to accept the<br \/>\nterms and conditions<br \/>\ne. Select Forgot Password if you require your customer password to be resent to you.<\/li>\n<li>Click on Login<\/li>\n<li>The landing page of E-services will be displayed. Just click on Certificates &amp; Disclosures<\/li>\n<li>The different Enterprise Disclosure options will be displayed. Click on the relevant option.<br \/>\na. Free Disclosure<br \/>\nb. Full Disclosure (R30)<br \/>\nc. MOI (Incorporation documents)<br \/>\nd. Approved Names<br \/>\ne. Person Disclosure<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Free Disclosure<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> Please note that free disclosures cannot be used for official purposes. It is free of charge.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Input the Enterprise Number and click on Validate<\/li>\n<li>The following detail regarding the enterprise will be displayed. Click on Generate Certificate.<br \/>\na. Enterprise Number<br \/>\nb. Enterprise Name<br \/>\nc. Enterprise Type<br \/>\nd. Enterprise Status<br \/>\ne. Registration Date<br \/>\nf. Physical Address<br \/>\ng. Postal Address<br \/>\nh. Registered Directors\/Members<\/li>\n<li>The next screen will confirm that the certificate has been sent to the e-mail address on the customer profile.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Full Disclosure<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Complete the required Enterprise number and click on Validate.<\/li>\n<li>The following detail regarding the enterprise will be displayed. Click on Generate Certificate.<br \/>\na. Enterprise Number<br \/>\nb. Enterprise Name<br \/>\nc. Enterprise Type<br \/>\nd. Enterprise Status<br \/>\ne. Registration Date<br \/>\nf. Physical Address<br \/>\ng. Postal Address<br \/>\nh. Registered Directors\/Members<\/li>\n<li>The next screen will confirm that the certificate has been sent to the e-mail address provided.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Memorandum of Incorporation (MOI) (Incorporation documents)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>To be able to view the Memorandum of Incorporation documents, you need to be an active director in the enterprise. You will be presented with a list of enterprises. They do the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Select the entity for which you want to generate the Registration Documents.<\/li>\n<li>Scroll to the bottom of the screen and confirm that the correct entity is displaying. Click on Generate Certificate.<\/li>\n<li>The next screen will confirm that the certificate has been sent to the e-mail address provided.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/tQd2_GOxckw?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=en-US&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Approved Names<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>If you click on approved names, all names reserved under the customer code will be displayed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Person Disclosure<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>To view all directorships\/memberships of a specific person, type in the ID number and surname of the person and click on Search.<\/li>\n<li>A list will appear of each entity that the person is a director (company) or member (close corporation).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> If the entity is dissolved\/final deregistered, the status of the person as at the date of dissolution\/final deregistration will reflect show although the entity no longer exists.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>B-BEEE Certificate<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Complete the required Enterprise number and click on Validate.<\/li>\n<li>A message will appear whether a B-BEEE application was done via a CIPC Self Help Terminal. If so, click on Generate Certificate and the certificate will be e-mailed to you. However, a certificate is only valid for a year and cannot be renewed. A new application must be filed once it expires. CIPC only provides B-BBEE certificates to Exempted Micro Enterprises; turnover of no more than R10 million.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>How Do I Contact CIPC?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The commission can be reached in many ways.
