Through his work, he impacted the lives of many people across the continent and the world at large, thus attracting millions more to witness and receive from the mighty work that God is doing in his life.<\/p>\n<p>A testament to the popularity of TB Joshua is the fact that he had the honor of being YouTube&#8217;s most popular Pastor. His channel, Emmanuel TV, has over one million YouTube subscribers and is the most viewed Christian ministry on the video-sharing platform. He further operated one of the world&#8217;s largest Christian television networks, Emmanuel TV.<\/p>\n<p>Born Temitope Balogun on June 12, 1963, Johsua&#8217;s birth, according to his biography was surrounded with unusual circumstances that saw him spend 15 months in the womb of his mother among other things.<\/p>\n<p>His journey to becoming a servant of God later begun when he was nicknamed &#8220;small pastor&#8221; in secondary school because of his affection for the Bible. He was later known for organizing bible studies for children in his area. By 1987, the young boy would go-ahead to launch his own ministry, when according to him, he had a call from God who asked him to start the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN).<\/p>\n<p>Today the church has more than fifty thousand (50,000) visitors annually.\u00a0It was reported that SCOAN attracts more weekly visitors than the combined number of people that visit Buckingham Palace and the Tower of London. In a video recorded in 2014, Joshua said that an undisclosed Southern African nation&#8217;s president, vice-president or first lady will be embarrassed, killed or captured. He Was Very Influential<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Joshua was believed to be one of the most powerful and influential men in Africa because of the amount of influence he had in the political sphere. Directly or indirectly, the man of God had a hand in the political victories of some of the continent&#8217;s biggest leaders, including Ghana&#8217;s John Atta, Liberia&#8217;s George Weah, Tanzania&#8217;s John Mufuli, and Malawi&#8217;s Joyce Banda.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>2. TB Joshua Did a Significant Amount of Humanitarian Work<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Joshua was actively involved in humanitarian activities and youth empowerment schemes. This included him coming to the aid of victims of natural disasters in Nigeria and elsewhere, providing scholarships, and starting a football team as a part of a youth empowerment scheme, among many other things. Thanks to his work, TB Joshua was awarded a National Honour by the Nigerian government, as well as a letter of appreciation from the United Nations.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>3. He Engaged in Exorcism<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Another quick fact about him is that he engaged in exorcism and is said to have delivered many people from evil spirits. TB Joshua Died in 2021<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The world woke up to the shocking news of TB Joshua&#8217;s death on the 5th of June 2021. According to the information shared by his church while announcing his passing to millions of his followers on Facebook, the preacher drew his last breath not long after he conducted a live broadcast.<\/p>\n<p>Other than that, nothing was disclosed about what led to his death. However, there were reports that the televangelist suffered stroke just two months before he died.<\/p>\n<p>The popular philanthropist died at the age of 57, just two weeks away from his 58th birthday. His body was laid to rest on July 9, 2021<\/p>\n<h3><strong>5. The Late Preacher is Remembered for So Many Things<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Although he is no more, TB Joshua left behind a lot of legacies for which he will always be remembered.
