Papu’s earliest work in the TV industry was the SABC2 drama Hillside, which she joined in 2006 and played the role of “Nurse Dineo.” She reprised the role in the second season as well. She also appeared in the second season of the Mzansi Magic drama Saints and Sinners, wherein she portrayed the role “Lena Zondi” in 2016.
She appeared as Nomathemba in the supernatural drama series The Herd in 2015. Three years later, she was featured on the sixth season of the Mzansi Magic soap opera Isibaya. She made the recurring role of “Fezeka” in the popular soapie.
In the same year, she played the lead role as “Nomathemba” in the Mzansi Magic supernatural drama The Herd. She subsequently joined the Mzansi Magic telenovela with a minor role as a “social worker” in 2019.
