Nzuzo Njilo’s Fraud
Not too long after Nzuzo Njilo’s beautiful wedding and honeymoon with Faith Nketsi, allegations of fraudulent activities were rained on him and his business. The reports were published on the 7th of June 2022, as he had been taken into police custody on the grounds of fraudulent activities.
It was said that he duped his business partners, Blaine Evans and James Stephens, in a deal that was worth almost R1 million. From the reports received from one of Njilo’s partners Blaine Evans, he claimed that a whooping sum of R978,104 was paid to Nzuzo’s Absa account via Lund Industries for the acquisition of copper concentrate from NN Chrome Mining, which is one of the businesses managed by Nzuzo.
He also added in his statement that Nzuzo promised to deliver the product but failed to keep to his end of the bargain. The case is in court, and on the 29th of July 2022, Bazuka Attorneys, the firm representing Lund industries, was authorized by a high court order to add his movable properties and sell them off to recover their money.
This, however, seems to have rendered the businessman bankrupt as the properties recovered from his house, which included his electronics and furniture, could only amount to about R350,000, which was barely up to his debt of R1 million.
And to add to the drama going on in the life of Nzuzo reports also emerged that the Range Rover he had given his wife, Faith, in 2021 was rented from a car dealer in Sandton.
