The son of a political journalist who lost his life in a car crash in 2011, Lathabo holds a degree in Political Science from the University of Pretoria. Focalistic first tasted fame after he won the Artist On Rise competition in 2016, after which he began making beautiful hits back to back.

The Khuza Gogo crooner took to Twitter on February 13, 2022, and showed off a teddy bear, sweet treats, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, and other gifts Focalistic gifted to her in a video she captioned: Valentine’s Olympics.
A second video she also shared showed she was in a hotel room filled with rose petals. The ending part eventually captured Focalistic getting a bottle of bubbles ready for a steamy night.

Her videos went viral immediately, with most of their fans gushing over the amapiano stars. The two had made a rare public appearance in December 2021 when Gogo celebrated her Glamour magazine cover.
DBN Gogo and her man have also worked on several projects in the past. Gogo, born Mandisa Radebe, featured on Focalistic’s Palama off his debut album, Sghubu Ses Excellent, while the two feature on Mas Musiq’s song, Sim Sima, from his 2020 album, Mambisa II.

Although so many of their fans are so excited for them, some of them believe that the rapper started a relationship with DBN Gogo because of her wealthy family background. DBN Gogo is the daughter of Jeff Radebe, who has served the South African government in various capacities, including as Minister of Energy (2018-2019) and Minister in Presidency (2014-2018).

Gogo’s mother is the respected mining mogul Bridgette Radebe. The current CAF president and one of the wealthiest businessmen in Africa, Patrice Motsepe, is her maternal uncle. The president of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa, is also her uncle.
