SITA Registration
The process of registration on the SITA website is straightforward. To have access to e-services provided through the government agency, all you need to do is to register with them by filling out their registration form, which can be seen on their website eservices.gov.za
- Firstly, you are required to provide your details. This includes your first name and surname (the other two names are optional), ID number (for South African citizens), and passport number.
- Next, provide your correct contact details. This stage primarily includes your cellphone number or landline and your email address. It is important that you provide your correct phone or landline number, one that you can receive calls or SMS with it. Similarly, the email address should also be one you receive and send emails from.
- Â Step three of the SITA registration process requires that you provide your correct home or residential address details. This may be the suburb, township, or village where you stay. It is important that this address should be an existing one with verifiable landmarks.
- After that, you will have to provide a password consisting of at least eight characters. The characters must include at least one of each of the following; upper case, lower case, number, and special character.
- The last phase of the SITA registration process is verifying the applicant’s registration. As a SITAÂ applicant who has duly and correctly completed the registration, you will be provided with a unique SITA verification code which you are expected to type correctly into the space provided on the registration portal. After this is done, click on the “Register” button and allow the registration process to complete.
- You registration will automatically be processed and vetted so long as you type in the correct SITA registration verification code, which is unique to you.
