A video of local rapper Cassper Nyovest’s epic fall during a live performance has gone viral.

The singer took a tumble and landed on his butt while on stage during his performance at NickFest on Saturday. The incident happened while he was performing his track Jump at uShaka Marine World.

Apparently slipping in front of thousands of fans is the worst nightmare of a performer. While Cassper has entertained us countless times in the past, this is one moment we will never forget as far as his career as a musician is concerned.

Cassper had just made a dramatic entry to perform the hit Jump when he took an unexpected tumble. Cassper Nyovest’s epic fall happened while he was jumping around to the rhythm of the song.

Not withstanding, as a professional, Cassper got up quickly and brushed it off like nothing happened. He efficiently carried on with the performance but apparently exercising more caution. But of course, the crowd didn’t miss  the slip and went ahead to cheer him on.

Earlier this month, the rapper took to social media to celebrate a milestone for his latest music video Tito Mboweni. Taking to Twitter on Tuesday night, the rapper announced that the video had reached 600 000 views on YouTube just four days after dropping. While celebrating the milestone, Cassper has a new goal – He aims to reach one million views in a week.

“600 000 views in 4 days!!!! Can we get it to a million in the next 3 days???” the rapper tweeted.

The visuals for the track were on point as the video features the likes of Queen Twerk, a social media sensation who topped the trends list last year after a video of her and her boyfriend in an intimate moment went viral.

In addition, Nadia Nakai, Carpo More and Riky Rick also appeared in the video. Of course, the visuals wouldn’t be complete without the flashy cars, mansions, expensive booze and bundles of cash. Read more here.
