DJ Black Coffee Goes Public With His Vote


DJ Black Coffee made a decision to go public with his party of choice in preparation for the long awaited day at the polls.

He didn’t hush to give it a second thought before revealing who he will be voting for in the 2016 municipal elections today.

He spilled it all out in a video he recently shared on Instagram.

“My vote is not a secret. I vote ANC‚” he revealed.

“For me‚ they have changed everything about my country.”

The award winning DJ continued to count his blessings which he acknowledge that the ANC helped to achieve. He explained that the party has helped him in building his music career‚ which has been successful..

“I’m now currently touring the world. And no‚ I’m not in exile. I’m out here representing my country in every corner of the world‚ sharing the music.

“They have opened the doors for me. They have given me the power to do this‚ so I owe it to them to give them the power‚” he declared.

As DJ Black Coffee goes public with his vote, he joins a host of other celebrities who have publicly declared their support for the ruling party. The likes of Dineo Ranaka‚ AKA‚ Kelly Khumalo‚ Thembi Seete and Zahara publicly supported ANC’s recent campaign trails.

Few months ago, rapper AKA took to Twitter on to shared his political views with his followers in a rather lengthy tweet.

In his tweet, he revealed that he has been approached to perform for the DA on several occasions, but always turned them down. And for the fighters (EFF), he said he will never again perform for them no matter how attractive the money is.

However, he confirmed “I’ve even performed at 2 EFF parties.”

The rapper who has performed at several ANC events, pledged his support for the party he believes holds a bright future for the country.
