Get Ready To Rock With The Vamps In SA!


While we are still marveling at the news about Justin Bieber’s return to SA, Big Concerts on Friday confirmed that The Vamps will follow suit.

The British pop rock band consisting of Brad Simpson; James McVey; Connor Ball and Tristan Evans will be touring South Africa for the very first time.

The group will perform in Cape Town on 18 March 2017 at Kirstenbosch Gardens and on 20 March, they will take it down to Johannesburg at the TicketPro Dome.

Tickets for the show go on sale on Monday, 12 December at 09:00.

Later in May next year, singing sensation Sabrina Carpenter will tour the UK with the Vamps band.

The rock band first gained fame in late 2012 with cover songs uploaded to YouTube. Subsequently, they were labelled a boy band and even compared with One Direction. The band started from the scratch and never knew they will one day, become one of the big shots in UK’s entertainment industry.

It has been from one success to another for the rock band with an incredible number of fans around the world. They boast 450 million views across YouTube and VEVO; almost a million Youtube subscribers; 4.4 million Facebook likes and a whopping 3 million followers on Twitter.

The Vamps are excited to visit their fans in South Africa in March 2017 and so is Justin Bieber who will be visiting the country for the second time.

The Sorry hitmaker will storm Mzansi for a tour which is presented by Discovery. Big Concerts announced on Thursday that Bieber will be coming to South Africa in May 2017. This will form a part of his Purpose World Tour which started earlier this year.

The Purpose World Tour started on March 9, 2016 in Seattle. Eventually, the tour will be wrapped up on September 5, 2017 in Toronto. But not before South Africans get a taste of it.
