Meet Uzalo Producers
The multi-award-winning South African soapie is produced by Stained Glass Productions. The production company is a joint venture between Gugu Zuma-Ncube and Kobedi “Pepsi” Pokane. The hit series is created by Duma Ndlovu. While Khumbulani Hlongwane serves as the producer of Uzalo, Mmamitse Thibedi and Gontse Lekgetho are the show’s executive producers.
New episodes of Uzalo air on SABC1 from Mondays to Fridays at 20h30. The show has been running for the past seven years and is the most-watched TV series in South Africa. Since its premiere in 2015, Uzalo has claimed many awards, including The South African Film and Television Awards for the Best TV Soap and the Most Popular Soapie.
