Robert Parker died in an ATV accident while mud racing in Harnett County on the 15th of March, 2023. The accomplished mud racer died in the course of doing what he loved, but it didn\u2019t diminish the grief and pain that his loved ones and peers felt.<\/strong><\/p>\n

There was an outpouring of heartfelt tributes online, with many paying respect to Parker as a man who would give the shirt off his back and even his shoes to help others.<\/p>\n

Who Was Robert Parker?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Robert Parker was a well-known American mud racer who won multiple titles in off-road motorsports. He was born on the 21st of May 1984 and died on Wednesday, the 15th of March 2023. He was 38 years old at the time of his demise.<\/p>\n

Parker was a native of Wake County, North Carolina. He hailed from a family of five. His father\u2019s name is Larry Ivey Parker, while his mother\u2019s name is Pamela Ann Sorrel Parker. His parents are divorced, and his father has remarried. He has two sisters, namely, Ivey Lynn Cathcart and Kristie Parker Atkins.<\/p>\n

Robert Thurman Parker grew up in Four Oaks, North Carolina, and attended South Johnston High School. He also studied at North Carolina State University, where he completed a bachelor\u2019s degree in education.<\/p>\n

Robert Parker spent much of his life as a professional off-road racer. He raced for Team Momentum for several years and competed in the 4×4 A and 4×4 Pro categories. While racing in the former, he finished second overall in 2019. For the latter, he finished in the top 10 for 2020. In 2015, he won two Championship Mud Racing titles in Super Modified (using Outlander ATV Racer) and Pro B (using TMR Outlander Max) Classes.<\/p>\n

Robert Parker was married to a lady named Casey. They tied the knot around 2006 and had three children together, namely daughters Carleigh and Sawyer and a son named Nathan.<\/p>\n

What Happened to Robert Parker?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Robert Parker died in an accident on the 15th of March 2023. He had been riding a four-wheeler vehicle in an off-road race when the accident occurred. An ATV, otherwise known as an all-terrain vehicle, rolled over him, killing him. His death triggered lots of tributes from his fans, his peers as well as various mud racing organizations.<\/p>\n

Battle of the Builds LLC, a mud racing competition organizer, described Parker as an amazing father, husband, and role model. They expressed their hurt at his demise but recalled that he inspired many in the off-road world and helped shape the industry. They pointed out that his legacy would live on and sent prayers and thoughts to his family,<\/p>\n

In a similar vein, Team 904, an off-road racing team established in 2018, described Parker as a friend and brother and stated that they were saddened by the loss. They described him as a one-of-a-kind person and a light to the world who wouldn\u2019t hesitate to give the shirt off his back and the shoes off his feet, too.<\/p>\n
