Meanwhile, the rumors got to the ears of the people involved, and they had no choice but to respond. In early March 2023, Mychal took to Twitter to declare that the internet was a sick place, complete with a vomit emoji. In subsequent tweets, she made it clear that the rumors were far from the truth and that it was quite sad that this was what people were conjuring up in their brains.<\/p>\n<p>Andrew Wiggins never addressed the whole thing publicly, but a teammate of his, Draymond Green, chimed in with his two cents, pointing out that people don\u2019t know what others are going through and then still go on to compound their problems.<\/p>\n<p>The rumors persisted for a while, with some online trolls dwelling on it, but it later died down as Wiggins returned to play in April 2023. However, there is no doubt that they are close. The two established their close relations when they both played for the Golden State Warriors. Poole, a point guard, joined the Warriors in 2019, while Wiggins, a small forward, came the next year.<\/p>\n<p>Training, playing, and competing together helped Andrew Wiggins and Jordan Poole build a bond, and when the Warriors became NBA champions in 2022, they celebrated together. They also frequently interacted with each other on social media. This close bond did not go unnoticed, and Poole was soon asked about it.<\/p>\n<p>He revealed that He and Wiggins have a connection both on and off the court. He also stated that they talk all the time and they text often. Poole described Wiggins as his brother and stated that they had been giving him strength and all the support he needed. He told Wiggins to take as much time as he needed and promised that they would hold things down until he got back. He also revealed that it was good that the franchise gave his pal time off to be with family.<\/p>\n<p>Poole further made it known that it wasn\u2019t his style to crowd people, but rather, he lets them know that he is always there for them if they need him. Of course, Wiggins returned to playing in April 2023, and the whole brouhaha has cooled down.<\/p>\n<p>It, however, remains to be seen how his friendship with Poole will pan out, given that the player was sold to another team on the 6th of July, 2023. If their friendship does indeed continue, then know that Poole will definitely be in the running to be considered Andrew Wiggins\u2019\u2019 best friend.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Who is Jordan Poole?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Jordan Poole is a professional basketball player who has played for multiple NBA teams. Unlike Wiggins, who is Canadian, Poole is American and was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on the 19th of June 1999. He followed the normal school route to become a pro. First, he played for Rufus King International High School, Milwaukee, and La Lumiere School, La Porte, Indiana. He then spent two years, from 2017 to 2019, playing college basketball at the University of Michigan<\/p>\n<p>Jordan Poole was drafted into the NBA in 2019 by the Golden State Warriors. He spent the next four years with them before going to the Washington Wizards in 2023. His time with the warriors was mixed. While he did win an NBA championship, he was scrutinized for some of his performances.
