They took notice of each other and Tammy was instantly impressed by Reid\u2019s confidence and waited for him to ask her out. When they were newly married in the 80s, he had to change jobs multiple times. She and the NFL coach welcomed their first child, a son named Garett, on the 13th of April 1983. Their second child, a son named Britt followed in 1985. The couple\u2019s other kids are Crosby (a daughter born in 1988), Drew Ann (a daughter born in 1992), and Spencer (a son born in 1993).<\/p>\n<p>Tammy Reid\u2019s children are all grown up and college-educated and are thriving. Some of them are married with kids and some have also followed their father\u2019s footpath. Spencer, for instance, has worked as an assistant strength and conditioning coach at Colorado State University while Britt has worked as an outside linebacker\u2019s coach for the Kansas City Chiefs.<\/p>\n<p>Tammy Reid often refers to herself as the head coach of the Reid family as she primarily took care of the responsibilities on the home front. He started using drugs at the age of 19 and all the efforts he made to get clean failed. Tammy and Andy also tried to get help for Garett and even accompanied him to rehab facilities.<\/p>\n<p>It was, however, hard for him to conquer his demons. He was jailed for being in possession of drugs in 2007 and eventually overdose in 2012.
