That&#8217;s right, Owen Wilson has never set eyes on the daughter he had with Varunie.<\/p>\n<p>Varunie, who herself witnessed the breakup of her parents&#8217; marriage as a youngster, had hoped that her daughter would have the privilege of having the attention of two parents. So far though, her wish for Lyla has failed to materialize with court documents showing that Owen Wilson had ticked the box that meant he relinquished all rights to Lyla&#8217;s existence and upbringing.<\/p>\n<p>Varunie has been very critical of the actor for failing to fulfill his paternal obligations to his daughter, Lyla, who is a spitting image of the <em>Marry Me<\/em> star. She stated that she could not comprehend how Owen was getting roles where he plays a father figure when he has failed to be responsible for a child that bears his last name despite the controversies surrounding her birth.<\/p>\n<p>Lyla&#8217;s mother has also told Wilson that their daughter needs a father and that the he is missing out on her best years. Aside from the criticisms the actor has faced from his ex-girlfriend, he has also been verbally flogged by fans who can&#8217;t seem to understand why he is being so indifferent to his only daughter.<\/p>\n<p>To put the extent of Owen&#8217;s incomprehensible refusal to meet his daughter into perspective, anyone who has heard the actor talk about his other 2 children will consider his actions toward Lyla a bit extreme despite adding her to his Actors&#8217; Guild medical insurance and reportedly paying $25k monthly child support.
