Popularly called &#8216;The Hollywood Ripper,&#8217; &#8216;Chiller Killer,&#8217; or &#8216;The Boy Next Door,&#8217; Michael Gargiulo was one of the most-wanted serial killers in America in the early 2000s.<\/p>\n<p>He is also a rapist and has been convicted of two counts of first-degree murder and assault and has been sentenced to death. The 48-year-old man was charged with murder after it was established by an American court that he stabbed 18-year-old Tricia Pacaccio, his former neighbor, in August 1993.<\/p>\n<p>Michael had been only 17 years old at the time. He was also found guilty of murdering then 22-year-old Ashley Ellerin by stabbing her to death 47 times, nearly decapitating her in the process. The horrifying nature of his crimes made his case a popularly shocking one, especially after it was discovered that one of his victims, Ellerin, was the girlfriend of then-rising Hollywood actor Ashton Kutcher. This made the media highly invested in crime. This interest was what primarily led to Ana&#8217;s exposure as Gargiulo&#8217;s wife.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Ana Luz Gonzalez Has a Son with Michael Gargiulo<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>While it sounds like such a difficult concept to grasp, the killer Michael Gargiulo was a married man with a family. According to media reports, they got married in 2007 but were only together for about a year before Michael&#8217;s arrest and subsequent trial.<\/p>\n<p>The couple had a son, whose details have been kept away from the public and are likely to remain that way. After his trial, Gargiulo stood to face either life imprisonment without the possibility of parole or a death sentence. The Californian jury sentenced him to death according to Los Angeles law.<\/p>\n<p>However, since Gargiulo is expected to be extradited to Illinois, he will most likely get away with only 25 years to life, with no death sentence.\u00a0All these convictions have nothing to do with his wife Ana because they occurred before he met and married her.<\/p>\n<p>Michael Gargiulo&#8217;s crimes are his alone to bear the consequences for.
