She studied community health at the University of North Florida. Inspired by her father&#8217;s love for mother earth, Nicole also obtained a master&#8217;s of education in environmental science at Nova Southwestern University.<\/p>\n<p>Upon completing her master&#8217;s, Nicole McNamara spent three years <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thebluesurfer.com\/mag\/2019\/11\/30\/nicole-macias-mcnamara\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">teaching<\/a>. She taught science to middle school kids and environmental studies to high schoolers.
