More explicit details about his birth family have however been hidden from the public space, and so his parents haven&#8217;t been identified publicly as yet.<\/p>\n<p>A few credible sources state that he grew up with several siblings, none of whom have been identified as well. White\u2019s Criminal Record<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Charleston White was only 14 years old when he <a href=\"https:\/\/www.the-sun.com\/news\/2929109\/who-is-charleston-white\/amp\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">went to prison<\/a>. It turns out that young Charleston White was the leader of a juvenile gang that perpetuated all types of crimes, all of which led to his incarceration. However, the exact crime that caught up with him was a case of a theft gone wrong. According to reports of that fateful day&#8217;s events, Charleston and his gang went into a Foot Locker store and attempted to steal some athletic jackets. They were confronted by a security guard whom they ended up shooting.<\/p>\n<p>A report from the Texas Tribune stated that Charleston White admitted to his crime, even calling himself a murderer, although he wasn&#8217;t the one who pulled the trigger. He and his fellow delinquents were sentenced for murder under the Tarrant County Texas law. In a stroke of luck, his sentence was lessened after four correctional facility officers pleaded in court on his behalf.<\/p>\n<p>In 1984, he was moved from the Texas Youth Council Lockup to the Giddings State School where he remained until 1990. He was released a few months before his 21st birthday, meaning Charleston was in prison from the age of 14 until he was 20 years old, spending a total of nearly seven years at the state school.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>He Has Become A Social Media Personality<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Upon his release, Charleston White became a changed man. He reinvented himself, cleaned his image up, and even went back to school. He decided to use social media to preach his newfound faith. Charleston established massive fanbases on platforms like Instagram and YouTube. His Instagram page @fortworthdude gathered over 200k followers before he decided to deactivate it. His official Charleston White YouTube channel was also taken down for unknown reasons.<\/p>\n<p>He also founded the HYPE youth outreach program. This company was created to help young people focus on school in order to stay out of trouble. Before long, Charleston&#8217;s fame had spread even further, as his posts and podcasts always went viral and sparked conversations throughout social media.<\/p>\n<p>After he got his college degree, he did some volunteer work at the Texas Juvenile Justice Department in May 2012. Charleston also served at the Welcome Back Tarrant County, where he was a volunteer chaplain for the prison reentry department.<\/p>\n<p>His new image is that of a clean-cut motivational speaker and life coach. He has a reputation as a snitch, mostly due to the fact that he assists the police to take down drug and crime gangs in Fort Worth. His reputation is basically at 50-50 nowadays, with many loving him and just as many despising him as well.<\/p>\n<p>He also received heavy public backlash after some insensitive comments he made in the wake of George Floyd&#8217;s death. He made similar comments after rapper DMX died, where he alluded to the fact that both men were responsible for their own deaths.
