Marcus Glenn Richardson is Abby Phillip’s husband, who currently works as a managing consultant with nVisium LLC., a mobile and web-based security company with headquarters in Herndon, Virginia, USA.

Richardson had lived a pretty much ordinary life devoid of any media spotlight, but that was until he married famous American journalist and CNN White House correspondent, Abigail Phillip. His marriage to Abigail, who has been a guest in Washington Week and C-SPAN, completely altered the dynamics of his life and like most celebrity spouses, his life and career have inevitably become an interesting topic of discussion amongst members of the public and media houses in general.

Marcus Glenn Richardson was born on March 9, 1983, under the zodiac sign of Pisces. While the exact location of his birth is not particularly known to the public at the moment, close sources to the 41-year-old have revealed that he was born in the United States of America and therefore enjoys all the rights and privileges of an American citizen. Marcus comes from an African-American ethnic background. His father was a military officer named Russell G. Richardson and his mom is a woman named Toussaint Richardson.

While not much is known about Marcus Glenn’s mother or what she does for a living, his father, Russell G. Richardson served as a colonel in the United States Navy and put in around 30 years of service before officially retiring in 2007. As is common with military children of any country or region, Marcus Glenn experienced the regular upheavals of military life and never really stayed in one place long enough to form a lasting connection.

While this was not the ideal childhood for the proper development of a child, Marcus and his family found a way to make it work for them. The upside to all the traveling that Marcus did as a child were the experiences he garnered from observing firsthand what it really was like to live in some European countries such as the Netherlands and Germany. Marcus’ childhood experiences were not limited to EU countries, far from it. He also had the unique privilege of living in Asia when his dad was stationed in Japan.

Marcus was not the only child of his parents. All the aforementioned traveling experiences were shared with an older sister, Stacie Thompson – who graduated from TUI University. She currently works as the Human Resource Specialist for Air Force Civilian service. There is also a younger sister, Jasmine Richardson. They all had an interesting upbringing which is quite unique to army brats.

The outcome of having to travel as often as Marcus did while growing up is that there are no available records to show where he got a pre-school, middle school, and high school education. However, if one goes by his father’s line of work and the fact that Marcus grew up away from the US, the assumption that he got a basic education in a foreign country will not be misinterpreted. There are records that show that he played basketball at the Kadena Youth Center when his father was stationed at the Kadena Airforce Base.

After his early education, Marcus made the decision to return home to the US for his college education. He gained admission to major in International Affairs at Florida State University, eventually graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in his major in 2009. The fact that he is among the Harvard University class of 2010, suggests that he might have gone further to bag a post-graduate degree at the prestigious educational institution, even the discipline is not known.

While it is clear that Marcus Glenn Richardson’s older sister, Stacie, followed in their father’s military footsteps, Marcus chose to serve humanity in a different way. The first job he got after college was as a desktop analyst for Howard University. He started working with the University in 2009 and while there, he took the time to upgrade his knowledge of digital security. His time with the university ended in 2012.

Almost soon after his employment with Howard University ended, Marcus became the technical support for LivingSocial and worked with them for around a year before joining his current company nVisium LLC, a web and mobile app security company. He was employed by the company in 2014 and has gradually grown through the ranks from his initial position as the firm’s senior application security consultant to his current office as the managing consultant of the company.

Marcus Glenn Richardson’s salary has grown to the point where he is currently valued at an estimated $2 million. This figure is just about double that of his wife, Abigail Phillip, whose net worth from an impressive career stands at around $1 million.

We will assume that Marcus Glenn Richardson and Abigail Phillip had no expectations when they accepted an invitation to a friend’s party in Washington DC in 2011. However, as fate would have it, the friend turned out to be a mutual friend of the would-be couple. The said mutual friend introduced them and they conversed for a little while, but one thing they couldn’t ignore was the sparks that flew everywhere at the party.

Marcus and Abigail clearly believed this was something worth pursuing and they decided to give it a try. From 2011, they dated for five years, within which they got to know more about each other and even moved into an apartment together. In 2016, Marcus popped the question at a Christmas dinner that the couple put together for their families. Abigail accepted and preparations for the wedding began in earnest.

They were engaged for about 2 years before eventually sealing the deal at Anderson House, a museum in Washington DC, on May 26, 2018, and in the presence of their close friends and family members. The couple clearly supports each other in their endeavors and their love is still as new as ever evidenced by how much they showcase each other on their respective social media pages.

Abigail Phillip is a savvy, street smart American journalist who initially had dreams of being a heart surgeon but who has since had a meteoric rise through the US journalistic landscape to become a famous political correspondent and news person. She is currently CNN’s White House correspondent.

She started her career as a journalist by working as an intern with ABC7 News, progressed to become a political reporter at the news outlet Politico, where she was also a White House correspondent. She traded Politico for WJLA in 2012 before leaving again for the Washington Post in 2014, beginning as a writer before gaining promotion to the position of a political reporter.

A slew of remarkably completed projects for the Post, such as coverage of the Charleston Church shooting, Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign, and Donald Trump’s administration, convinced CNN that she was the right person for the post of their White House correspondent and she was promptly recruited in 2017. She has remained there since moving almost five years ago.

The couple, whether by design or unknown circumstances, waited for almost 3 years from the date of their wedding before adding to their family. The now-family of 3 welcomed the newest addition to the family in the form of a daughter named Naomi Angelina Richardson on August 16, 2021. The public who was already aware that Abigail was expecting a child was made aware of the baby’s arrival via an Instagram post by the baby’s mother, Abigail, who expressed her’s and Marcus’ delight at the birth of their daughter.

Naomi Angelina Richardson, who was described as healthy and ready to eat by her mother, is still very much healthy and strong, loved by her adoring and doting parents, and is currently just over 7 months old.

Marcus Glenn Richardson is Abby Phillip’s husband, who currently works as a managing consultant with nVisium LLC., a mobile and web-based security company with headquarters in Herndon, Virginia, USA.
