After being drafted by the Denver Broncos as the second pick in the first round of the 2011 NFL draft, the DeSoto, Texas-born star has gone on to have a thrilling football career that has spanned well over a decade.
He spent around 10 years with the Broncos, and during his time there, he picked up several individual and team awards, including being named in the PFWA All-Rookie Team of the Year, as well as being awarded the title of the NFL Defensive Rookie of The Year in his debut NFL season in 2011.
Miller is a two-time Super Bowl champion after being part of the Broncos team that won Super Bowl 50, as well as the Los Angeles Rams team that emerged victorious at Super Bowl LVI. Compared to his career achievements though, the 35-year-old Super Bowl 50 MVP has yet to have the same level of success with regard to his personal life and relationships, and not from a lack of trying.

However, things didn’t quite work out between the former couple who reportedly broke off the engagement sometime between late 2020 and early 2021 when the reports of their broken engagement started making the rounds. It didn’t take long to confirm the fact that Miller and Denise had truly ended their engagement due to the shades they threw at each other on social media, indicating that the engagement had ended in messy circumstances.
The NFL Player Had A Messy And Complicated Relationship With His Ex-Fiancee
Von Miller started dating Megan Denise in 2018 after they met at the ESPY Awards. Born on December 3, 1989, Miller’s 34-year-old former fiancée was a stripper at Floyd Mayweather-owned Girl Collection strip club in Las Vegas from 2017, when the club opened, until 2018.
She stopped stripping after she started dating the NFL star in 2018, and switched her career focus to being a model and a social media influencer with varying degrees of success.
Every aspect of the former couple’s life in the early days and months of their relationship, including how they would share their beautiful moments together with their myriad of social media followers, seemed perfect and convinced Miller that Megan would be the perfect woman to become his wife, and he proposed not long after they started dating.
Just over a couple of years later, the then-couple would entirely halt the progress of their union as a couple. This was accomplished in stages that involved a lot of mud-slinging and petty recriminations from both Miller’s end and Denise’s.
One could argue that the beginning of the end of their relationship commenced when Megan got pregnant with Von’s child. He would then allegedly ask her to get rid of the baby, a suggestion that did not go down well with Megan, and she struck back.
She took to her Instagram page to recount her ordeal at the hands of the NFL star to her over 1 million followers on the social media platform. One significant accusation she levied against Miller was that following her insistence on keeping the baby they made together, the 2012 Butkus Award winner had sent her a text which expressed his desire for her to have a miscarriage.
Megan further suggested that she may have been physically abused by the NFL star after she revealed that she verbally empathized with women who suffered mental, verbal, or physical abuse from their partners. Her statement attracted the attention of cops but she retracted her claims that she had been a victim of abuse.
Miller responded by saying that Megan’s claims were fake and that being with her was a mistake he regretted. He also fired verbal shots at the Instagram model in an Instagram post by suggesting that leaving her may have prompted her crazy reaction and meltdown. Meanwhile, the post has since been deleted.
Von Fathered A Child With His Ex-Fiancee, Megan Denise
Although his relationship with Megan Denise ended relatively badly, it wasn’t all bad for Denise and Miller. As indicated previously, the Instagram model became pregnant with a child she had conceived with the NFL star.
However, several accounts and the timing of the birth of their child suggest that she was not pregnant when they first broke up. She, however, became pregnant when they tried to work out their differences sometime later.
Miller and Denise’s son was born on August 16, 2022. They named him Valor Von Miller at first but the NFL star later revealed he had changed the boy’s name to Legacy Von Miller even though he could retain the name Valor as a nickname.
Von Miller Does Not Have A Girlfriend
Since his relationship with Megan Denise ended, Von Miller has not been in a romantic relationship even though he was pictured with a new woman on Instagram. However, the face of the woman was hidden from the camera and there is no information about who she is, and the picture has been taken down.
Miller’s relationship history shows that he dated actress and model Elizabeth Ruiz in 2016. The relationship allegedly ended badly after she tried to blackmail the NFL star with their sex tape. She allegedly requested the sum of $2.5 million to destroy the tape.
The NFL star was also linked to model Lira Galore in April 2022 after an Instagram post he had made featuring a picture of the model and promising her that no one would joke with her when he was with her. Nothing came of that link though as Miller later blocked Lira on Instagram.
