That happened a bit later in college. Jacob and Tamyra started dating during their junior year in college and that continued until they officially let the world know in February 2014. Jacob Stock clearly adores his wife and his comments on her personality signify just how much. He says she’s still as goofy as she has always been. He also mentioned the part about how resilient she has been throughout all the heartaches she has experienced, from losing her father to a fatal car accident at the start of her wrestling career to the sad death of her best friend a few weeks to the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Tamyra has also been quite vocal in her admiration for her “high school crush”, a man she followed to Wayland Baptist University and who she says has been very supportive of her wrestling career right from the very beginning.

Much has been said about Tamyra Mensah-Stock’s impressive wrestling career but not many people know that her husband Jacob was also on the path to becoming a professional wrestler. Jacob started wrestling as a high school student at Morton Ranch High School where he wrestled alongside his wife, Tamyra. By the time he got to college, his abilities had become quite evident and he went on to compete at the NXT level. He was also the captain of the men’s wrestling team at Wayland and his official college record stands at 13 matches and 15 dual points.

Jacob Stock has competed in several wrestling competitions, including USA Championship Wrestling, and participated in the competition for the Team USA Olympic trials in Iowa City. He led his team to victory in the competition held in 2012.
