Darrell Wallace Sr. is a businessman who owns an industrial cleaning company but he didn’t achieve this overnight. Upon leaving school in the early 80s, He first found work with a well-known industrial cleaning company known as PSC. This was in 1985, and he spent the next 12 years in their sales division during which he gained experience and proved himself useful.

From March 1999 to December 1999, Darrell worked in sales for another industrial services company named Thompson Industrial Services LLC. He once more distinguished himself but later left to concentrate on his own company.

He Remains Supportive of His Son Till Date and Has Defended Him From Critics

Darrell Wallace Sr. has remained supportive of his son as the boy has grown to be a trailblazing NASCAR race driver. This doesn’t come as a surprise given their early days. When Bubba was still a young boy in racing, he experienced several racial slurs and disqualifications but Wallace Sr. taught him that the best way to respond was to win. Win he did and Wallace Sr. remains his biggest fan to date. He often retweets his achievement on Twitter.

He also supported him during the noose gate controversy of June 2021. Bubba had discovered a noose in his garage stall during a NASCAR race and described it as a deliberate hate incident. His fellow racers supported him but an FBI investigation concluded that it wasn’t deliberate. Darrell Fell Out With His Son in 2016 But They Are Now Reconciling

The relationship between Darrell and his famous son has not been perfect though. For instance, around 2016, Wallace Sr. and Desiree experienced a serious fracture in their relationship and fought a couple of times. Bubba was none too happy with this and confronted his father. The physical altercation dented their relationship for several months and even years.
