What Did EDP445 Do?
In 2020, YouTube punished EDP445 by stripping him of all his platforms after it was discovered that he had been messaging underage girls. The former YouTuber had multiple channels on the platform, with each focusing on various subjects like cooking, gaming, vlogs, and others. The news of his pedophilic tendencies came to the public light after a video was uploaded to a channel named ‘Chet Goldstein.’
The Chet Goldstein channel posted a video claiming that the YouTuber was having sexual conversations with minors and even making arrangements to meet with them. The channel was run by a YouTuber named Alex Rosen, who himself is known for highly controversial, and sometimes offensive videos.
His update on EDP445 was no different, and the video gathered over 2 million views in less than one month. Rosen was able to catch EDP445 by using a decoy. EDP445 allegedly sent sexual texts and pictures to someone who was only posing as a 13-year-old girl. While chatting with each other, the decoy drew EDP445 to Bakersfield in California, where he thought he would meet the underage girl.
The entire interaction between both men was live-streamed on YouTube. Everybody saw Rosen and another “predator hunter” named Ghost confront EDP445 for over an hour over his inappropriate conduct. In the end, both EDP445 and Chet Goldstein were taken off YouTube.
Rosen accused the platform of being unreasonably biased against his kind of content, saying, “we can’t post anything on YouTube anymore pretty much, that platform just doesn’t like us.” But while Rosen moved his content to his private website called Predator Poachers, EDP445, on the other hand, disappeared entirely from public view.
Was EDP445 Ever Charged?
There is currently no information about whether EDP445 was ever charged to court or not. Bryant Moreland had been accused of several misdemeanors, including messaging multiple minors in the past, tax evasion, child grooming, and pedophilia. According to an official press statement given by the Bakersfield Sheriff’s Department to ABC news on April 22, 2020, the disturbing video was still being investigated, but the police hadn’t made any arrests yet.
