Meet Randy Chrisley- Todd Chrisley’s Brother Who Was Diagnosed With Cancer

Randy Chrisley is Todd Chrisley’s younger brother. Born on August 28th, 1970, Randy is currently 53 and also works in the real estate industry like his big brother. He was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in 2014, however, he won the battle against it and is now in remission. 

Though he initially launched his own real estate company, things didn’t work out for Randy. He later gave up the dream of becoming a company owner and now works with RS Service as one of their employees. He has been married and divorced with two children.

When Was Randy Chrisley Born?

Randy Chrisley was born on the 28th of August 1970, and his birth occurred in Westminster, South Carolina, in the United States. Obviously a citizen of America, Randy comes from a mixed ethnic background.

He is the son of a United States Army veteran, Gene Raymond Chrisley; who was decorated with a bronze star after serving in the Korean War. During the later part of his life, Gene battled cancer and died at Emory University Hospital at the age of 77.

Though she is still alive, Randy’s mother, Faye Chrisley, is also battling bladder cancer. She let the world in on her health status sometime in 2021. Randy had two brothers, but only one is still alive, Todd Chrisley. His late brother is Derrick Chisley.

Randy’s paternal grandparents have been identified as Allie Mae Childers and Leonard A. Chrisley. There are grey areas in Randy Chrisley’s academic history, but it is common knowledge that he graduated from West Oak High School in 1984.

Is Randy Older Than Todd Chrisley?

Randy is not older than Todd Chrisley; rather, Todd is the oldest among the Chrisley brood. Born on the 6th of April 1969, Todd is a year older than Randy Chrisley.

Todd works in real estate, television, and the fashion industry. He came to the limelight when he created the reality show Chrisley Knows Best and is the owner of Chrisley Asset Management. Todd is far more famous than Randy Chrisley, but the Chrisley brothers share a great bond.

The two siblings share great childhood memories together, and in recent times, Todd has been sharing some of their childhood pictures on the internet space. There was one touching caption where the older Chrisley brother praised their mother, Faye, for her hard work and dedication to family life.

The next day, Todd also shared another cute throwback picture of him and Randy where they were seen playing with their pooch, spanky.

Even at adult age, the Chrisley brothers have remained united. When Randy was down with stage four cancer, Todd was a pillar behind his brother until he got better and went into remission.

Apart from Todd, Randy had a younger brother named Derrick Chrisley; however, Derrick, who was born on June 29th, 1971, died as an infant in October 1971. The cause of death was never disclosed.

What Does Randy Chrisley Do For a Living?

Randy went into the real estate business like his big brother, Todd. He launched his own firm but wasn’t successful. He is presently with RS Service as one of their employees. Randy Chrisley also makes some appearances on his elder brother’s reality TV show, Chrisley Knows Best.

He Has Had Brushes with the Law

In 2016, Randy’s name hit the airwaves when the South Carolina native was arrested for shoplifting. He was caught with bags of candy worth $22 in his pants; he later confessed that he didn’t want to pay for the candies.

He was already standing in the line to pay for the items he bought when he saw the cops arrive, and the fear led him to run out with his buggy towards the back side of the store.

One funny aspect of the story was that Randy Chrisley went there with his son, who was then 11, and his ex-wife was a former staff of the same store. This realization led many to question his motive as he later revealed that he had more than enough cash to pay for those candies.

Randy has been Married and Divorced

Randy Chrisley was married to Pamela Anne Bryson-Chrisley; he met his ex-wife in 2010. The duo commenced dating after a short while and tied the knot on August 2012. Randy and Pamela’s wedding was a quiet affair with just family and close friends in attendance.

The couple lived peacefully until 2016, when their relationship went south. Pamela accused Randy of adultery and later filed for a divorce. After their divorce was finalized, Randy’s ex shared a social media post claiming that he was a painkiller addict and got violent when he couldn’t lay his hands on any. She said there were scars on her body from wounds inflicted by her ex-spouse whenever he gets violent.

In the long run, Pamela started extorting her ex by threatening to sell a damaging story to the National Enquirer and demanded the family pay her hush money. She was later arrested by the authorities and had to meet bail set at $1,000 before they let her go.

Randy Chrisley’s current relationship status is not known. The South Carolina native has not been associated with any woman since his divorce.

He is a Father of Two

Though his relationship with Pamela didn’t yield any children, Randy is a father of two from previous relationships. Gabe Chrisley and his sister, Amber Chrisley, have been identified as the children of the South Carolina native. However, Randy has refused to mention their mothers’ names in public. His kids are all grown up now and forging their own part in life.

Randy Chrisley’s Battle with Cancer

The year 2014 was a bad one for the Chrisley family as Randy was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. His serious health condition called for extensive treatment and chemotherapy, which he underwent under the care of his family members.

After his stage 4 cancer diagnosis, there was little hope that Randy was going to come out of it alive, but he eventually won the battle against cancer and is currently in remission. Randy is presently trying to pick up the pieces of his life and forge ahead.
