Lena Gieseke and Tim Burton are no Longer Together

Lena Gieseke and Tim Burton had a short time together as a couple because their union did not last more than four years. The now-former couple met at a party in London shortly after Gieske graduated from CalArts.

Miss Gieske was later invited to a photoshoot for Burton’s 1989 Superhero film, Batman, and following that, they could not help but fall in love with each other. On February 24, 1987, Lena and Tim Burton exchanged marital vows in a closed ceremony. Their nuptials were witnessed by close friends and family members only.

Details of their marital life remained largely a secret, however, on December 31, 1991, the public woke up to the fact that their divorce proceedings were completed, with Lena blaming their separation on Tim’s complex personality. After graduating from college, Lena Gieseke worked as an intern 3D generalist with Perpetual Motion in Athens, Georgia. Her internship lasted between March 2005 and May 2005 and fortunately, she was retained by the company till September 2006.

Her first job as a 3D artist was in the German movie titled 1½  Knights: The Search For The Lovely Princess Herzelinde. Furthermore, Gieseke became a 3D freelancer in 2007 at Method in Motion, California. Later in July 2008, she landed a gig with Scanlife VFX in Munich, where she worked as the scripting and pipeline TD and RD until July 2011.

Subsequently, in 2008, Lena Gieseke worked in the visual effects department for the movie Die Jahrhundertlawine. Also, she took a role as the animator on Berlin 36 and Vicky the Viking. In addition to this, Gieseke worked as an application developer in 3DXcite just before her Doctoral program.

Similarly, she taught graduates Media Design and Business Networking as a visiting lecturer at Furtwangen University. This job started in October 2012 and ended in June 2015.
