At the onset, he never wanted to forge a career in the acting world, but his modeling agency secured an audition for him and he decided to try his luck and it turned out in his favor.

His first deal with the series was a six-episode guest stint that was slated to last just three weeks but as the plot unfolded, Felix realized that he was cut out to become an actor after all. The next year, he came back for a guest stint that lasted four months and before he was through with his academics, he was all out to pursue an acting career and that was when Neighbors made him a permanent cast in 2016.

Though he started in 2014, Felix stayed with the cast until it wrapped up in 2019, and after five years, he recorded a total of 851 episodes as a main cast member. The major reason why Neighbors blended so well with Felix Mallard’s life is that they recognized the young man’s interest in music and went on to incorporate it into his Ben Kirk character.
