Alisa Mote grew up in Mississippi and completed her high school diploma at Parklane Academy. She thereafter enrolled in Walden University to study nursing. Lizzy was born Elizabeth Patricia Musi on the 1st day of January 1991 in New Jersey. She hails from a family of four which includes her dad – Pat Musi, mom – Elizabeth, and a sister named Patricia. Lizzy Musi’s dad, Pat Musi, is a famous drag racer himself and won about eight Professional Street World Championships during his heydays. He has now retired to the backroom and operates as a foremost engine repairer.
Given her background, Lizzy Musi grew up in close proximity to drag racing. She served as an apprentice to her dad at his engine building store and by the age of 16, participated in her first competitive drag race. This was around 2007 and since then, she has gone on to become one of the dominant female drivers when it comes to drag racing. Lizzy Musi became the first woman to win the PDRA in 2014. She has also won races in places such as the Middle East.
In 2018. Lizzy Musi transitioned to No Prep Racing, a legal type of street racing. She has won multiple races since then and is now the first woman to win a No Prep Kings Event. Her exploits have fetched her a spot on the Discovery series, Street Outlaws, and she has several sponsors such as Edelbrock and Lucas Oil.
They Began Their Relationship in 2017 and Got Engaged in 2021
Lizzy Musi and Kye Kelley got to know each other in the course of their mutual careers as drag racers.
