Fezile Tiisetso Thoka (born June 16, 1987; Age: 35 years old) is a South African actor, scriptwriter, editor, and TV personality best known for playing the role of June July in Gomora, the popular telenovela.
Thoka earned his career breakthrough as Dingane in Mzansi Magic supernatural drama series, The Herd. The actor’s popularity grew tremendously after he was cast as Mike Junior on the TV series Gomora. As June July was trying to explore his friendship with Thati, his boss, Qhoqhoqh, reminded him that he had to kill Thati in two weeks. Obviously blinded by love, June July chose to kill his boss Qhoqhoqho and save his newly found love, Thati.
The Gomora Actor Started His Career at a Young Age in Mpumalanga
Thoka knew at a young age, precisely at the age of 12, that he was born to act. Immediately after his primary school education, he moved to Johannesburg to live with his beloved grandmother, who used to work for a white family.
Living in Johannesburg with his grandmother helped the Limpopo native attend several auditions and also boost his acting career the more. He would subsequently take up acting classes at Market Theatre to hone his acting skills.
