TB Joshua (born June 12, 1963, died June 5, 2021) was a Nigerian pastor, televangelist, and philanthropist known as the founder and Senior Pastor of The Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) until his death in 2021. He was married to Evelyn Joshua with whom he had three children, including daughters, Serah Joshua and Promise Joshua. Not much is known about their third child.
Renowned for performing miracles, giving prophecies, and doing a lot of humanitarian work, TB Joshua was unarguably one of the most well known religious leaders in Africa. Born Temitope Balogun on June 12, 1963, Johsua’s birth, according to his biography was surrounded with unusual circumstances that saw him spend 15 months in the womb of his mother among other things.
His journey to becoming a servant of God later begun when he was nicknamed “small pastor” in secondary school because of his affection for the Bible. He was later known for organizing bible studies for children in his area. By 1987, the young boy would go-ahead to launch his own ministry, when according to him, he had a call from God who asked him to start the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN).
Today the church has more than fifty thousand (50,000) visitors annually. It was reported that SCOAN attracts more weekly visitors than the combined number of people that visit Buckingham Palace and the Tower of London. The Nigerian Immigration Service further reports that six out of every ten foreign visitors coming into Nigeria are going to SCOAN.

Meet T. B Joshua’s Wife and Children
TB Joshua’s wife is Evelyn Joshua, with whom he had three children. Evelyn is a minister in SCOAN and was believed to be the second most powerful person in the ministry until her husband’s passing.
The eldest of the couple’s children, Serah Joshua, finished from the London School of Economics, Department of Law. She was called to bar in Nigeria in December 2015, a year after which she was again called to bar in New York, USA. Promise Joshua, the Joshuas second daughter, is studying Politics and International Relations at the London School of Economics. Not much is known about their third child.

As mentioned above, TB Joshua was known for his prophecies that were widely sought after by the public. These prophecies were mostly shown on Emmanuel TV Live, where he preached and also performed miracles.
Among the most popular prophesies he made was one that had to do with the death of the late president of Malawi, Bingu Mutharika, as well as the death of Michael Jackson. Other notable prophecies he allegedly made include the result of two African Cup of Nations (AFCON) finals, the Malaysian Airlines MH370 event, Al-Qaeda terrorist attacks, ISIS and Al-Shabaab militant attacks in Kenya, the 2015 Paris attacks, and the 2016 Brussels.

The world woke up to the shocking news of TB Joshua’s death on the 5th of June 2021. According to the information shared by his church while announcing his passing to millions of his followers on Facebook, the preacher drew his last breath not long after he conducted a live broadcast.
Other than that, nothing was disclosed about what led to his death. However, there were reports that the televangelist suffered stroke just two months before he died.
The popular philanthropist died at the age of 57, just two weeks away from his 58th birthday. His body was laid to rest on July 9, 2021

Although he is no more, TB Joshua left behind a lot of legacies for which he will always be remembered.
