Skeem Saam is a South African TV series that centers on the Turfloop inhabitants, who struggle with difficulties on a daily basis as they advance up the success ladder. The lifestyles of the wealthy in Johannesburg as well as the wealthy and impoverished residents of Turfloop are also followed.

Major Happenings on Skeem Saam in December 2023
The popular TV show began in December 2022 with Ntate Kganyago unleashing his true nature and Leeto receiving a slap in the face after attempting to make a deal with Dragon. We also saw things going awry after Elizabeth had thought she had finally defeated Ntate Kganyago.
Chef Kgosi sadly failed woefully after trying something desperate. Jacobeth was also brought to her knees in shock when Kganyago vanished into thin air. Surprisingly, Leeto challenged his head of security for abusing his customers while a girl developed feelings for Chef Kat.
The last episodes in the series showed evident chemistry between Leeto and one of his workers and the dynamics of Meikie and John’s relationship changing.

Monday 2 January 2023 – Episode 131
Pretty’s friendship with Lehasa is driving her crazy. Koloi is under increasing pressure to find employment. Meikie thinks Ntswaki has betrayed her.
Tuesday 3 January 2023 – Episode 132
A wayward son makes peace with his parents by coming home. Khwezikazi is aware that she is keeping a snake. Two young boys understand the serious repercussions of their conduct.
Wednesday 4 January 2023 – Episode 133
Khwezikazi is the target of a deadly scheme by Lehasa. Ramolao increases the pressure on Koloi because of his unemployment. Unexpected family members are delivered to the Maputlas.
Thursday 5 January 2023 – Episode 134
Khwezikazi and the infant end up in danger, sending Lehasa into a severe spiral. Koloi’s situation starts to improve when he gets a job interview in the large city of lights. Meikie feels a little hurt by the rumors spreading about Ntswaki and her irresponsible behavior.
Friday 6 January 2023 – Episode 135
Chef Kgosi shatters Pretty’s romantic illusion and hurls painful reality at her. Koloi is dealing with Eunice at the worst possible time as she wants what is rightly hers. Meikie learns why Ntswaki had been concealing her grade-nine report card. There is a staff problem for Francois at Level.
Monday 9 January 2023 – Episode 136
Kgosi receives a warning from Lehasa that suggests a meeting with his Maker. Ntswaki, who is lying once more, has a heart-to-heart with Meikie. Francois sternly corrects his employees on their work ethic.
Tuesday 10 January 2023 – Episode 137
Zakhele unexpectedly pays Khwezikazi a visit, and he receives the shock of his life. Koloi had a nightmare on his first day in Johannesburg. Meikie is furious with Alfred for what he did.
Wednesday 11 January 2023 – Episode 138
There’s no going back for Pretty now that she’s had it with her boyfriend. Meikie makes a promise about her future to Ntswaki. In the City of Gold, Koloi’s life is turned completely upside down.
Thursday 12 January 2023 – Episode 139
When Shivambu finds out that his child has vanished kilometers away, he loses it. Due to uninvited guests, Lehasa ends up in the fire instead of the frying pan. Once more, Alfred declines Meikie.
Friday 13 January 2023 – Episode 140
Meikie and Ntswaki are drained by the high school rejections. An emotionally drained Pretty draws the line with Lehasa. Ramolao and Shivambu begin their Joburg search party for Koloi.
Monday 16 January 2023 – Episode 141
The Maputlas get concerned about Ntswaki’s location and she decides to take issues into her own hands. The unexpected guest at the door stuns The Seakamelas. Koloi lives in poverty on the streets of Johannesburg.
Tuesday 17 January 2023 – Episode 142
The high school rejections have worn down Meikie and Ntswaki. Lehasa crosses the line for an emotionally drained Pretty. Ramolao and Shivambu launch their Koloi search operation in Johannesburg.
Wednesday 18 January 2023 – Episode 143
Kgosi advises Khwezi to step up her game after hearing Lehasa’s shocking news. As he adjusts to a new world, Letetswe is having his worst day ever. The news of her beau’s new living situation affects Ruth.
Thursday 19 January 2023 – Episode 144
Khwezikazi and Chef Kgosi con Lehasa with their web of deceit. Letetswe is forced to face the Kunutu music when the truth is revealed. Koloi finally gets to meet the homeless man he has been sharing a shelter with.
Friday 20 January 2023 – Episode 145
The bad news about their infant is delivered to Lehasa and Khwezikazi. To his dismay, Koloi calls the business where he was scheduled to have the interview. Letetswe asks Alfred for something modest regarding his grade, but he loses.
Monday 23 January 2023 – Episode 146
A lovely coincidence greets Koloi as she comes to Level Café. Letetswe defeats Pax without making a move in the fight for the “IT Girl.”
Tuesday 24 January 2023 – Episode 147
In Petersen’s office, a new dishwasher appears. Letetswe is unpopular with Charles. Kgosi trembles as a result of Lehasa’s warning.
Wednesday 25 January 2023 – Episode 148
When Chef Kgosi finds out some unsettling information about Lehasa, his thoughts begin to race. Even though Koloi is determined to start over in the City of Gold, things aren’t always rosy. Mahlatse is forced to decide between drinking water and blood.
Thursday 26 January 2023 – Episode 149
When Koloi eventually speaks to Shivambu, he opens himself completely. Khwezikazi and Chef Kgosi are unexpectedly apprehended as they prepare to leave. Mahlatse is questioned by Pax about his “new” ally.
Friday 27 January 2023 – Episode 150
Unable to escape, a desperate lady is apprehended. When Ruth learns that Koloi is secure and employed in Johannesburg but fails to even let her know, she is devastated. On behalf of their valued assets, their sons, Charles and Mr. Kgomo engage in a debate.
Monday 30 January 2023 – Episode 151
In an effort to preserve her life, Khwezikazi takes action. The HR Manager has a terrible impression of Melita because of her antics at the hospital. At Level Café, Koloi dazzles.
Tuesday 31 January 2023 – Episode 152
When someone he’s been avoiding pays him a visit, Francois’ worst dread comes true. It appears like Koloi’s fortune is finally improving. Melita irritates Dr. Hlongwane and the HR Manager.
