Set in Johannesburg and Turfloop, the South African TV series documents the lives of residents in these cities as they face daily trials and tribulations on their paths to greatness.

Major Happenings on Skeem Saam in November 2022
The popular TV show began in November with Jacobeth receiving sad news from Ntate Kganyago. We also saw how Kwaito took a bold decision that left his boss with a bad taste in his mouth.
Khwezikazi was also seen getting so uncomfortable with how her husband’s ex was warming her way back into his life. Jacobeth eventually got his resignation letter ready to be handed in while turf community members gathered to put an end to the looming project.
The last episodes in the series saw Koloi making up his mind to go against Shivambu’s request, but he later found himself dealing with him directly.

Leeto gets a slap in the face while trying to strike a deal with Dragon. The real Ntate Kganyago is unleashed, and he is a man of many faces. Koloi dodges a bullet with his father.

Elizabeth is knocked for a six when Jacobeth’s life, as she knows it, changes forever. The community of Turf is up in arms with the Maputlas’ new business venture. It’s all systems go for Koloi ahead of the Miss Capricorn event.
Monday 5 December 2022 – Episode 111
Jacobeth rejects Elizabeth outright. The teenagers sing Nakedi Maphuthuma’s praises while Koloi suffers the side effects of unforeseen results. Leeto is willing to go the extra mile to make his club opening a success.
Tuesday 6 December 2022 – Episode 112
.Lehasa is upset when he learns that he was inadvertently rendered an absent father during a crisis. A mother, stuck between a rock and a hard place, is forced to choose love over her own. The battle lines are drawn between a son and his parents.

Elizabeth thinks she’s finally going to nail Ntate Kganyago, but things pan out differently. Interviews for Leeto’s club begin. Lehasa is shocked by Khwezikazi’s recent behaviour.

Ntate Kganyago peels off his mask, and what’s under it is not looking nice. Lehasa bites off a former Rovuwa chef’s ear for almost getting him arrested. Charles is not happy with Nora’s unexpected confession.

Ntate Kganyago starts milking his sleeping beauty financially. Chef Kgosi proposes a sinister partnership with Khwezikazi. Bazaruto tears a deep hole in Leeto’s pocket before it even opens.

Elizabeth learns some disturbing intel on her mother’s beau’s not-so-distant- past life. Chef Kgosi rubs Lehasa the wrong way when he shows up at Khwezi’s place without invitation. Eunice wants Leeto to give her a waitressing job at his new joint.

Khwezikazi shocks everyone by asking for help from an unexpected ally. Ntate Kganyago commands his accomplice to “take care” of a certain doctor. Eunice stands her ground, and Solomon is in great shock.

Leeto finally stands up to his nemesis after suffering sabotage. Elizabeth’s digging lands her in great danger. Lehasa gets himself ready when he learns of Khwezikazi’s recent visit to the doctor.

Jacobeth’s ordeal is a joke to her enemies while her daughter remains ‘MIA’. Khwezi’s idea of developing the baby throws Lehasa off and gets him laughing so hard. Joy and Leeto’s relationship begins to shake.

Phomolo wants Lehasa to see reasons that Khwezi’s idea to strengthen their pregnancy isn’t such a bad one. The chickens come home to roost for a certain swindler as the cops’ trail on him intensifies. Eunice is angry with the latest addition to the Bazaruto staff roster.

Kganyago’s disappearance continues to make the Thobakgales uncomfortable. Ntswaki slowly reveals her true colours. Chef Kgosi threatens to do his worst if his demands aren’t met.

The two most wanted fugitives show up at another hospital. The Seakamelas are gifted a pleasant Christmas surprise. Leeto puts Dragon in his place.

Kganyago disappears into thin air and brings a devastated Jacobeth to her knees. A young lady has the hots for Chef Kat. Leeto confronts his Head of Security for ill-treating his patrons.

Khwezikazi is not too welcoming when Lehasa presents her with a new Midwife. Luc calls Elizabeth to officially strike the last nail into Jacobeth’s coffin. Ntswaki pulls a disappearing act and freaks out Meikie.

John lays down the law for Ntswaki. Jacobeth’s heart sinks even more when Elizabeth gives her advice she doesn’t want to hear. Chef Kgosi’s defiance has Lehasa thinking evil thoughts.
