With her recent role on Mzansi Magic’s Greed and Desire, actress Simphiwe Ngema is all set to make a TV comeback.
This is coming a year after she left popular soapie Muvhango. The actress has been teasing her fans about a TV return for some time now. Subsequently, she took to Instagram on Monday to finally let the cat out of the bag.
Thus, Simz Posted a picture of herself with the cast and crew of the TV show‚ and wrote;
“My new Family! Greed& Desire lets have fun. Come with me‚ let’s take this journey together“.
Her character on the show seems to be a fascinating one and Simz can’t wait for fans to meet her her – Noni Ndlovu.
Apparently, Simz is equally excited about her role. While reflecting on the work she has done so far, she admitted that acting is her passion.
“I’m having so much fun playing this character‚ what you see is not what you get. Can’t wait for you guys to meet her‚” she wrote.
Last year, Simphiwe Ngema left Muvhango with rumours spreading that creators of the show concluded that her role as Thuli has become “useless” and a liability.
That notwithstanding, Simz did not relent as she told Mo Flava in an interview on Metro FM at the time that she’s aiming higher.
“God has bigger plans for me and I felt it was the right time for me to leave and grow.”
Meanwhile, award-winning actress Katlego Danke also made a major TV comeback with a new explosive role on SABC 3 soapie Isidingo.
On Tuesday, 01 November, the actress who was expelled from Generations, made her big television acting comeback on the show.
