While we are still trying to come to terms with the exit of an icon, Sfiso Ncwane’s sons Mawenza and Ngcweti and his lovely wife Ayanda Ncwane, took to social media to share a very touching tribute to the fallen star.
His was a death that shook the country since nobody got the slightest hint it was coming. As a result, his family was left in great shock. And though his wife has not found the words to express how she feels, Sfiso Ncwane’s sons took to social media late Monday and Tuesday morning to pay tribute to their late father.
Alongside a cute picture of his mother and father together‚ his first born son Ngcweti Ncwane wrote;
“To my father: Thank you for everything you have done for the whole family. I know you didn’t mean to leave us. I hope that you (rest in peace) and I promise I will follow in your footsteps. There will never be another loving father like you. Love you guys with all my life Ngcweti.”

The young lad has a lot of respect for his dad and was also very supportive of what he does (singing). Thus, he always understood the fact that the singer had to be an absent father a lot. He also appreciates the impact his music has on people.
“You are forgiven for your absence, Dad. I guess the world need you too ???? congratulations @sfisoncwane Daddy???? eish @mawenzancwane and I have big shoe to fit here,” he wrote at the time.
Also posting a picture of their parents, Ngcweti’s younger brother, Mawenza, also took to Instagram to share a tribute to his father. He addressed him as his hero and promised to take care of their mother.
“My hero daddy. We will always protect mommy for you,” he wrote.
Meanwhile, Sfiso Ncwane’s sons tribute were not alone as celebrities joined in paying tribute to the gospel star. High-profile personalities like Maps Maponyane and Tbo Touch took to social media to share condolences to the bereaved family.
“Difficult to believe this is true being so young, full of life and making an incredibly positive impact… Rest In Peace Sfiso Ncwane,” Maponyane wrote.
“Professionals, businessmen and ordinary people are going to come from all over the world and bless the Ncwane family. His seed will never lack! I pray we understand that life is not rehearsal. May Sfiso passing register a sense of fear for God, work hard for our family and kids,” Tbo Touch added.
Sfiso Ncwane died at a Johannesburg hospital on Monday as a result of kidney failure. Details about his funeral will be released as at when due.
