The controversial picture is that of a woman in a revealing black linen underwear. Reports say that the name of the lady on the picture is Mandisa. Not only that, the woman also posed in a very sexy manner, with her legs wide apart. Buzzsouthafrica gathered that the unknown lady took a selfie and posted it on the minister’s timeline herself.

Reacting on the issue, Mbalula said that the reason why the picture appeared on his timeline was because his account was hacked. He also tweeted that his password has been changed following the incidence. However, he claimed that the source of the controversial picture was Nigeria. Sizwe Dhlomo, who is a media personality noted that the racy picture was from a Nigerian website.

He also claimed that he wasn’t even online yesterday night, so he wouldn’t have been the one who posted the picture. He maintained that his attention was only called to the bawdy picture later.

This morning, Mbalula reiterated his claims on the matter by tweeting, “Yesterday, I wasn’t online but I was alerted of a post on my Time-line. Logged online and quickly deleted it.”

Mbalula confessed that his Facebook and Twitter accounts have been hacked severally. But this time around, he said, “Attempts will be made to get to the bottom of this and find the hackers.”

However, many of Mbalula’s followers on Twitter have really made mad fun from his predicament. Some accused him of posting the nude picture intentionally. One of his followers tweeted,

In a mock vote, the minister demanded from his followers who they thought must have possibly hacked his account. He put forth three options being Gareth Cliff, former Beeld editor Adriaan Basson and Sathana Ngokwakhe.

@OzTheSon: Can yall find Mandisa’s handle. We have to hear both sides”.

#WeAreAfrica ✊ @iAmThatGuy tweeted “Mbalula saying his account was hacked sounds like King Dalindyebo saying someone sneaked weed in his prison cell while sleeping. PLEASE!.”

Mbalula has always been caught in the web. Some time this year, he was asked to give account on how money was spent when American World boxing champion Mayweather Floyd visited South Africa.
