Here’s An Overview Of What Went Down in August 2021 on “Scandal!”

If you’re on the edge of your seat eagerly anticipating the September commencement of the show, it can only be because you followed the nerve-wracking August edition of the series and can’t stand the wait for a second longer.

The August edition saw a furious Mamba decide to exact revenge, luring more persons into his lethal web while Nonzi gets ready to exact full control over Mlu. Two fathers battle it out over a child’s paternity as Boniswa perfects her escape. Nonzi is also warned concerning her actions with Mlu, as the women of Ngema are worried when they notice his strange.

It also saw Nonzi finally lay her hands on the Ngema family’s prized asset. At the same time, Boniswa attempts to establish her grip on Mamba’s empire, not knowing she is being monitored. Aya gets wind of a secret that compels her to reassess whatever she thinks she knows of her family, and Zinzile is jaw-droppingly shocked to discover that the Ngema’s have become homeless. A life hangs in the balance, but in the typical ‘Scandal!’ style, everyone is more concerned about making deals and negotiating agreements to protect their self-interests.

The month of August also sees Mamba’s children prove their mettle as his offspring when they are tested with a crucial choice which meant the difference between life and death. Also, a fugitive wanted for his crimes by the police ironically hides right under their noses, in plain sight! Grace uncovers information that sets her off, placing her on the warpath. It ends with a life lesson, ‘combining money with love and family is never easy and is seldom a wise decision,’ a harsh reality Quinton learns himself.
