Scandal! Has Been On Air For Over a Decade and a Half
For several years, Scandal! has been contending with SABC1 soapie, Generations: The Legacy, as the most-watched soap opera in South Africa. The multilingual drama series premiered on e.tv in September 2005. It airs on the TV channel from Mondays to Fridays at 19h30.
Over the years, it has expanded its broadcast across Africa as it airs on e.tv Botswana, e.tv Ghana, and eAfrica. Scandal! is produced by Ochre Moving Pictures. It was created by Gloria Medupe and directed by Ian Nkulu.
Scandal!’s Latest Additions
On September 2nd, 2022, Busi Lurayi debuted as Me’Shell in the multi-award-winning series, Scandal! Sadly, she passed on in July 2022 and wasn’t able to complete her scenes. Consequently, Thuli Thabethe was introduced to the show as Busi’s replacement. She currently plays the role of Me’Shell in Scandal!
