Donald John Trump’s election as the 45th president of the United States on Tuesday was a surprising outcome mostly because he defied late polls that showed Hillary Clinton had an edge over him.

in his victorious race for the White House, the Republican took the key swing states of Florida, North Carolina and Ohio early this morning.

In his New York victory speech, Mr. Trump promised to be a president that unifies the country and its people. Trump won the presidency in a tense showdown with strong opponent Hillary Clinton.

Meanwhile, news of Trump’s victory as the 45th president of the United States of America which was confirmed on Wednesday morning sent shockwaves through the world.
