Rumors about Rich Mnisi being married to Boity Thulo started circulating in September 2019 when the LISOF graduate shared a picture with the gorgeous rapper on Twitter and captioned it, “My Wife and I.” Later the next year, during Mnisi’s 29th birthday celebration, Boity Thulo penned the famed designer a heartfelt birthday post on Instagram.
She said in the post that it was her husband’s birthday and then moved on to sing praises of him. She called Rich Mnisi one of the kindest beings she had ever known. And that his beautiful, loving, and thoughtful personality made it easier for her to fall in love with him.
Even though the couple referred to themselves as husband and wife, they never opened up about getting married or confirmed their marital status.

His Twitter bio bears a flag of LGBTQ, and in October 2019, he tweeted the flag, hinting that he is a proud member of the LGBTQ community. He explained in the interview that he became aware of his sexuality at a young age.
But having been raised in a Christian home, he prayed against being gay and asked God to heal him of the demon inside him. He then grew up and started having a different relationship with his faith as he came to terms with his queer masculinity.
