Rapper Kwesta has confirmed that he will be heading back to America to perform alongside US hip-hop star T.I on his tour.
This is coming after a few months Kwesta took to the stage in Texas. Apparently they liked his performance then and thus, want more of it.
Consequently, Kwesta confirmed that T.I’s team contacted him about performing at the American rapper’s show. Thus, he will be jetting off to Atlanta this weekend to perform in front of thousands of fans at the prestigious Coca-Cola Roxy Arena in Atlanta for the final show of the tour. The expenses for his trip will be well taken care of.
“They were like, ‘we really like your vibe and we think that we can really vibe with you. We want you to come out and open for T.I.’ It came out of the blue. I haven’t met T.I. or anyone from his team before so to get this call was totally unexpected. I am a big fan of T.I. so I naturally said yes,” Kwesta told TimesLive.
He added that his success seems to grow by the day and his performance in America is just a tip of the iceberg.
“For this to come just weeks after the SAMAs and my album going platinum and Ngud’ five-times platinum is incredible. My team keeps asking when the celebrations are going to end but we just keep winning and riding this wave as much as we can,” he said.
Also, while in the US, Kwesta plans to do a bit of recording and collaborations before coming back.
“I will spend four days in America‚ performing and recording. There’s a couple of tracks and collabs I want to work on while I am there,” he revealed.
With all the awards and milestones coming his way recently, it’s safe to say that rapper Kwesta owns 2017 already.
