Last night’s OPW Bride had viewers wondering when she revealed that she’s glad her husband is blind so that she doesn’t have to worry about him cheating on her.
The latest episode of Our Perfect Wedding raised a lot of eyebrows on social media after viewers watched as the bride, Thoko, admitted to being happy that her husband is blind so, “he can’t see other women”.
Thoko and Vusi Zwane have both come a long way in their relationship which had gone through some ups and downs. The bride revealed that before her husband lost his sight, he was quite the ladies man.
The love story of Thoko and Vusi Zwane is quite an interesting one. Just like any other couple out there, they have experienced both good and bad times. However, their story revealed that Vusi was involved with numerous women and also engaged in adultery. Before he became blind from meningitis, Vusi married for the second time and also had a side chick, but his wife left him.
In one segment of the show, the OPW Bride confessed that though she loves him, she is very happy that her husband is blind because it means he will not be able to look at other women. In addition, she admitted that she would like for him to regain his eyesight, but only to see her for a brief moment before going blind again.
Twitter users were thrown off balance by her confession as a slew of them were stunned by what was going on in the woman’s mind. While some said that women who have relationships with unfaithful men deserve better, others wondered if the woman has a hand in the blindness that struck her man. Some others also suggested that since he’s a cheater, he will remain a cheater and blindness can’t change anything.
They reacted to the story through memes and comments on the platform.
