EFF lord – Julius Malema has called on black South Africans to occupy any piece of land they desire, charging them not to be apologetic about it.
Addressing Fighters at Madadeni College Stadium in Newcastle, KwaZulu-Natal, Malema argued that South Africa doesn’t belong to Whites.
South Africa he said, belongs to South Africa’s African majority. Thus, white South Africans can’t claim ownership of land, Juju preached.

The Fighters were celebrating the 61st anniversary of the adoption of the Freedom Charter.
Speaking on that, the EFF leader asserted that the clause in the Freedom Charter which stipulated that land in South Africa belongs to all who live in the country, was a sell out clause.
Adding that the ANC is unwilling to acknowledge another clause of the Freedom Charter that gave South Africans the right to decide where they want to live, Malema charged: “If you see a piece of land and you like it, don’t apologize, go and occupy that land. That land belongs to us.
“These whites found us here and not one of them came with a piece of land in their pocket. If we say that South Africa belongs to whites too it means we are defeating what our forefathers were fighting for,” he argued.
He vowed that the EFF will keep up its fight to ensure that blacks are declared the rightful owners of land.
Once that is done, the EFF will then, decide the quantity of land to hand back to the white citizens of the country.
To Malema, land is central to the economic freedom of a huge population of South Africa. And, the economic emancipation for all South Africans is achievable only when land is redistributed without the current owners being compensated.
