A little bird whispered that radio hosts Mo Flava and Lerato Kganyago will be replacing Tbo Touch on Metro FM following his resignation.
Metro FM presenter Tbo Touch resigned from the station a month ago, but insisted it was a peaceful exit.
Though it has not been announced officially, several sources have now confirmed that Mo Flava, real name Moeti Tsiki, and Lerato Kganyago will be switching over from morning to the afternoon slot.
Mo Flava and Lerato Kganyago will leave their The Morning Fix slot from 8-10am and move on to the afternoon drive from 3-6pm.
The SABC is still expected to make the announcement concerning the changes sooner than later.
However, reliable sources say the changes might be implemented as early as Monday.
Refiloe Mpakanyane who was news anchor on the Tbo Touch show for the past five years confirmed on Wednesday that she had resigned from the SABC after 11 years of service at the state broadcaster.
However, Refiloe unexpectedly says that the decision was not influenced by any beef in the house. Rather, she thought it was time to move on.
“I have been at the SABC for 11 years in various roles. I went there straight after varsity and you get to a point where you realise that your own dreams and goals have changed.”
Refiloe insisted that the decision was about her life and career and nothing to do with beef.
“There are absolutely no bad vibes here. I don’t have time for that. This was really a decision about my own life‚ my own career and my own family.”
While ears were itching to hear her next move, Refiloe was reluctant to share.
