Just a few days after the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) Commander-in-Chief Julius Malema fascinated the hearts of South Africans in an interview on how he proposed to his wife, the fighter and his charming wife Mantoa Malema have welcomed their first baby together.
Malema probably pulled a fast one on his supporters by holding back information about his wife’s pregnancy when he opened the lit at the interview last week. But, the big news is that the chief fighter now has a new bundle of joy.
Juju was the first to let the cat out of the bag on Friday, when he took to Instagram where he posted a picture of himself and his wife with a caption: “Mma Munzhedzi re a leboga‚ Modimo le Badimo ba leboloke” – which is roughly translated into “Munzhedzi’s mother we thank you‚ May god and the gods protect you”
It is understood that Munzhedzi is the name of Malema’s new bundle of joy. The name is a Venda name, which means a self-starter or leader.
Malema is now a father of two, following Munzhedzi’s arrival. He already has a son‚ Ratanang‚ born from a relationship with Maropeng Ramohlale.
Juju got married to his long-time heartthrob in December 2014 at a luxurious private ceremony in Malema’s home town of Seshego.
Meanwhile, three senior EFF officials declined to comment on the development. EFF commissar Godrich Gardee told reporters to rather call Malema themselves, despite congratulating Juju on Instagram.
EFF national chairperson Dali Mpofu, on the other hand, said: “You want to get me into trouble here. I don’t know anything‚ it’s best if you call him.”
Acting EFF spokesperson Fana Mokoena insisted it’s a family matter. He declined to say a word.
Anyway, from all of us here at BuzzSouthAfrica, we say congratulations Julius Sello Malema on the arrival of your new baby.
