It’s a beehive of activities as family; friends; fans and renowned personalities gathered at Ellis Park in Johannesburg today to pay tribute at Mandoza’s memorial service.

The fallen kwaito star Mduduzi ‘Mandoza’ Tshabalala attracted a lot of people who came to celebrate his life with his family.

Celebrities including Moshoza and Florence Masebe are present at the ongoing Mandoza’s memorial service to show their respects for the star.

Also, Bafana Bafana coach Shakes Mashaba is also in attendance.

Subsequently, more celebrities are trooping in.

Mandoza’s wife, Mpho, his children and are among those at the memorial this afternoon. All clad in black, Mandoza’s widow Mpho sits with their children in the front row, listening to friends, family and fans pay tribute to her Mandoza.

Mandoza’s sisters in their speech said that he has paved the way, leaving them with big shoes to fill.

Notably, musicians, family members, and friends are giving adequate support to Mpho and his children.

Some neighbors, family members and friends of the star have already given their tributes. Their main focus has been that the musician was a man who brought people together.

Meanwhile, musical tributes are also on the program to remember the kwaito legend. This way, he can be honored with that which he loved most – music.

Besides, fans at the memorial say they are here not just to mourn their icon but to also celebrate his life. Consequently, most of them can be seen dancing to the singer’s hit song Nkalakatha.

Surrounded by loved ones, the 38-year-old kwaito legend died on Sunday following an unsuccessful battle with brain cancer. After battling the disease for a year, Mandoza discovered his cancer had come back seven weeks ago. Thus, he started chemotherapy and fought till the end.
