Lungelo Mpangase Was Once Beaten Up On Set 

Mpangase made headlines for a not-so-good reason in May 2021 when it was reported that she was beaten up on set by her fellow actress for wearing her clothes. It happened that the up-and-coming actress was shooting for a new movie in Vosloorus, Gauteng, and was asked by the production coordinator to come with clothes for the next shooting.

She declined the request, saying that the production was meant to have a wardrobe for shooting. Upon her arrival, she was provided with clothes, and as she was having her makeup done, another actress was taking pictures of her. Feeling uncomfortable with the act, Lungelo Mpangase asked the lady to wait for her to finish her makeup, and then they would take pictures.

The lady was infuriated and told her that she was taking her pictures because she was wearing her clothes. As Lungelo Mpangase tried to remove the clothes, the actress attacked her, and she didn’t defend herself. She feared that physically fighting the lady would ruin her career.
