South Africa’s Cape Town made the list of the 21 cities around the world where Kanye West Pablo Stores are set to launch this weekend.
The American rapper will be gracing Cape Town with “The Life of Pablo” pop-up shops and social media users are already going gaga.
Thus, taking to Twitter, Kanye announced the news to excited users.
“21 Pablo stores worldwide this weekend. Locations here,” he tweeted. With the tweet came a map indicating where the temporary stores will be located, and Cape made the list.
Aside from Cape Town, the stores will also be in Toronto, London, Berlin, Singapore, Amsterdam, two Australian cities and other locations in the US.
Earlier this year, Kanye West opened a pop-up shop in New York City. The shop was open for just three days and recorded remarkable sales.
According to US reports, the queues lasted for several hours while Kanye claimed he made more than $1-million in sales.
There have been other Kanye West pablo stores which the rapper has launched for previous albums. 2013’s Yeezus and 2011’s collaboration with Jay Z, Watch the Throne birthed some pop-up shops.
The pop-up stores will reportedly open for only three days. Meanwhile, the exact locations for the sales will only be revealed by Kanye 24 hours before the shops are opened via his website.
Also, each location would feature its city’s name written on T-shirts and hoodies in the gothic-styled script of Cali Thornhill DeWitt.
Meanwhile, Twitter has been going gaga over the news and South Africans can’t wait to hit the shops as they pop.
Twitter user @sboshmafu twitted; “Need to ask for leave to go stand in a queue for Kanye Pablo gear.”
It’s really gonna be fun!
