The beautiful media personality hasn’t been forthcoming with details about her love life. However, it is known that she did not date Thami for a very long time before the two got hitched as man and wife. Previously, her love life centered around Naked Dj who many thought was her boyfriend. However, she later revealed that both she and the DJ were only trolling and playing mind games on their followers.
Before then, she was linked to Bafana Bafana star, Katlego Mashego. She revealed that she was in a relationship for four years in which she traveled the world on her own money and was never taken on holiday, not even once before they parted ways. Although she did not mention names, fans believed it was with the striker.
She claimed that after the relationship with the said individual, whom she once came to believe was the love of her life, she suffered a heartbreak but was able to come out of it. It was after this that she met the man she came to marry, Thami Ndlala.

Before her well-lavished marriage ceremony, Lerato was known as someone who had always guarded her privacy, most especially as it relates to her relationship jealously. She got hitched to Ndala in March 2020, just when the Coronavirus pandemic was making its way through the country.
The fairytale ceremony that was held exactly a month after Valentine’s day on March 14 was graced with the attendance of close friends and family members of the couple, including her uncles, Kaizer and Lesetja Kganyago. Others that were present at the event included Dineo Ranaka, Somizi Mhlongo, and Mohale Motaung.
As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, which had forced public events to be limited to only a hundred people at the time, Lerato revealed that they took extra precaution by inviting only sixty guests. Others who were not able to grace the event were still not left out as they followed what happened thanks to pictures shared on social media by Lerato and others present at the ceremony. Before the wedding ceremony, Thami Ndlela was said to have paid lobola for the former Miss Soweto.
They Called it Quits Barely Two Months Into Their Marriage
On the heels of their lavished and well-publicized marriage, many would have thought the union was one that would last forever, or at least for a very long time. Unfortunately, it did not survive for more than a couple of months.
The revelation that the marriage had hit the rocks was made by Lerato herself via an announcement on her social media. According to her, the reason behind the untimely demise of the marriage was their realization that they had different priorities. More so, she stated that their workloads have made it hard for them to fully invest in the marriage, and because of that, they decided to throw it into the bins of divorce.
She also revealed that she moved out of their matrimonial home after a follower on Twitter asked her if President Cyril Ramaphosa has left his house, which was said to be close to her matrimonial home. In response, the media personality said she didn’t know because she was already out of the house.
After she revealed on Instagram that her marriage had ended, Lerato also added that she and her then-ex husband were going to channel their energy on building their friendship, and she asked followers to respect their privacy as there won’t be any more comments on the matter.

Even though Lerato Kganyago put out a public statement on why the marriage ended for people to get off her back, that did not stop individuals on Twitter from making speculations. A popular and controversial Tweep, “Man’s Not Barry Roux” claimed that Ndala lied to Kganyago into marrying him. According to the Twitter account, Ndala had two South African passports with two different dates of birth; 1981 and 1988.
He lied to the woman that he was born in 1981 when he was allegedly born in 1988, and she was said to have stumbled on the other ID. Also, another allegation was that he also lied to her that he had a property in Sandhurst/Hyde Park, which allegedly turned out to be false; he was only renting it just as the car he claimed to own.
Another damning allegation the account made was that Thami was a father of three kids. Lerato was said to be unaware of this until after the marriage, forcing her to call it quits. In a tweet that has since been deleted, Man’s NOT Barry Roux and other Tweeps claimed that Kganyago was warned before she married Ndala, but she did not listen.

Two months after the pair walked their separate ways, which as stated, happened to be two months after their first marriage, fans got a dramatic surprise to find out that she was again in a relationship with none other than the same man from whom she announced a separation, Thami Ndlala.
But more than getting back together, it was revealed that Lerato Kganyago was engaged to Ndlala. Their re-engagement was known through a surprise birthday that Thami organized for his ex-wife and lover. During the birthday celebration, Thami had a staircase designed with balloons and words describing Lerato such as kind, generous, strong, content, and more, which unveiled as she continued to walk down the stairs.
At the end of the stairs, he ended the romantic celebration with the words “will you marry me again?” The joy in her voice was clear, signaling that the rift between them had ended, and they might soon be back as man and wife.
As always, some followers on social media expressed their joy for her, while others questioned her actions. Some likened her to Babes Wodumo, stating that it was a lesson on the need for people to always mind their business.
