MTN Contract Customers
Unlike other types of customers, contract subscribers will need to call the MTN service provider to register for the MTN Me2u service. During the registration, you will choose a monthly transfer limit for yourself. Here are the different options:

After each transfer, you will receive an SMS that contains details of your transfer and your current airtime balance. You are not allowed to transfer airtime gotten from promotions like bonuses.
MTN Hybrid Customers (Anytime TopUp and Off-Peak TopUp)
Hybrid customers do not have to register to use this service. These users cannot transfer airtime from their anytime TopUp, or airtime from promotions. It must be prepaid airtime.
Just like PayAsYouGo customers, hybrid customers also have a daily limit of R1,000 and a monthly R10,000. After a successful transfer, they will also receive an SMS containing transfer details and your remaining balance.

The moment you load a voucher card, the only way you can transfer the airtime to another person is by using the Me2U. In place of that, you can buy the MTN voucher card, scratch it to unveil the pin, and send the pin as an SMS to the recipient for the recipient to load.
