  • Visit the open distance learning section on the NWU official website.
  • Scroll to the ‘Assessment Information’ table (second from the left).
  • Under ‘Assessment Information,’ click on ‘Academic Record.’
  • Enter your username (Student Number) and password.
  • Navigate through the page to find ‘Academic Records’ and click on it.
  • Your details will be displayed on your screen.
  • Almost immediately, a notification will be displayed on your screen for you to enter a password that allows you to access your academic records.

It is important to note that the password for opening the document is your 13-digit South African ID number on your passport number.

How to Get NWU Academic Records Password

To access your academic records on NWU’s website, you will require your 8-digit student number and the PIN you created. If you wish to change your password, you can follow the procedure below:

  • Click on ‘Update Here.’
  • Enter your university number.
  • Enter the current password.
  • Enter the new password.
  • Confirm the password and submit.

It is noteworthy that your password is valid for only 90 days.
